Phytomyza gymnostoma
For a number of years now, two types of leaf miners can be found in Belgium and the Netherlands. They have several generations per season and cause damage mainly to autumn and winter leeks. The best way to avoid damage is to cover the leeks with insect gauze as soon as they are planted.
